Types of Massage-

Therapeutic: Most common massage technique used to promote general
relaxation, improve circulation, relieve tension and expand range of motion.

Deep Tissue: Targeted area work designed to reach deeper muscles for release of
chronic pain or tension due to overexertion, injury, or stress.

Trigger Point: A technique used to release trigger points (knots) from
musculature. Designed to free up muscle tissue, improve range of motion,
lengthen muscle tissue and reduce pain and restrictions.

Structural Body Work: A ten session modality designed to lengthen shortened
muscle tissue and correct bone structure. This improves mobility and structural
a abnormalities.

Cranial Sacral: A gentle, hands-on approach to bodywork focusing on the bones
of the head, spinal column, sacrum and underlying structures. The main objective
is to find restrictions and/or compressions in these areas and use specifically
designed techniques to release these areas.

Shiatsu: A form of soft tissue manipulation by thumbs, fingers and palms without
the use of instruments, mechanical or otherwise to apply pressure to the human
skin to correct internal malfunctioning, promote and maintain health and affect
specific diseases.

Reflexology: Focuses on points in the hands and feet believed to correspond to
each organ, gland and structure of the body to balance energetic flow and
improve physical symptoms.

Acupressure: A technique using pressure on specific points along the energetic
pathways (meridians) of the body to balance energetic flow and improve physical
symptoms.

Maternity: Therapeutic massage designed to relieve pain associated with
